DECISION-MAKING IS ONE OF THE DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS OF LEADERSHIP. IT’S CORE TO THE JOB DESCRIPTION. MAKING DECISIONS IS WHAT MANAGERS AND LEADERS ARE PAID TO DO. YET, THERE ISN’T A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT YOU DON’T READ SOMETHING IN THE NEWS OR THE BUSINESS PRESS THAT MAKES YOU WONDER, “WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?” OR “WHO ACTUALLY MADE THAT DECISION?” THAT’S PROBABLY ALWAYS BEEN THE CASE, BUT IT SEEMS EXPONENTIALLY MORE SO IN THE OPENING DECADE OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM WHERE EVERYTHING SEEMS MARKED WITH, “TOO BIG, TOO FAST, TOO MUCH, AND TOO SOON.”DECISION IS SUCH A BIG THINK TO BE THOUGHT TO THE ORGANIZATION.
TRANSACTIONAL PROCESSING SYSTEM IS THE BASIC BUSINESS SYSTEM THAT SERVICE THE OPERATIONAL LEVEL IN AN ORGANIZATION.THERE ARE

DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM IS A MODEL INFORMATION TO SUPPORT MANAGERS AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS DURING THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS.
EXECUTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM IS A SPECIALIZED DSS THAT SUPPORTS SENIOR LEVEL EXECUTIVES WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT IS A SIMULATES HUMAN INTELLIGENCE SUCH AS THE ABILITY TO REASON AND LEARN.

DATA WAREHOUSE IS A LOGICAL COLLECTION OF INFORMATION-GATHERED FROM MANY DIFFERENT OPERATIONAL DATABASES-THAT SUPPORTS BUSINESS ANALYSIS ACTIVITIES AND DECISION MAKING TASK.
DATA WAREHOUSE BASIC ARE EXTRACTION,TRANSFORMATION AND LOADING (ETL),DATA MART.
IN A DATA WAREHOUSE AND DATA MART,INFORMATION IS MULTIDIMENSIONAL,ITS CONTIANS LAYERS OF COLUMNS AND ROWS.
INFORMATION CLEANSING OR SCRUBBING IS A PROCESS THAT WEEDS OUT AND FIXES OR DISCARDS INCONSISTENT, INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.
ACHIEVING PERFECT INFORMATION IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. SO THAT THE ORGANIZATION MUST TAKE A CHALLENGES TO MAKE THEMSELVES FIT TO THE ORGANIZATION GOALS AND TARGET TO BRINGS TO THEIR CUSTOMER.
TECHNOLOGY,PEOPLE AND CULTURE THAT ARE PART OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENT THAT HELP PEOPLE MAKE THEIR DECISION MAKING CLEARLY.

STORING ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION-
DATABASE



INFORMATION WILL BE STORE IN THE DATABASE.DATABASE WILL MAINTAINS INFORMATION ABOUT VARIOUS TYPES OF OBJECTS (INVENTORY),EVENTS (TRANSACTIONS), PEOPLE (EMPLOYEES), AND PLACES (WAREHOUSES).WITH DATABASE MORE ADVANTAGE WE CAN GAIN AS AN ORGANIZATION.DATABASE CAN:
-INCREASE SCALABILITY AND PERFORMANCE THAT MEANS HOW WELL A SYSTEM CAN ADAPT TO INCREASED DEMAND AND HOW QUICKLY A SYSTEM PERFORM.
-REDUCED INFORMATION REDUNDANCY THAT MEANS TO AVOID THE DUPLICATION OF INFORMATION OR STORING THE SAME INFORMATION IN MULTIPLE PLACES.
-INCREASE INFORMATION INTEGRITY THAT MEASURE THE QUALITY OF INFORMATION POOR OR GOOD.
-INCREASE INFORMATION SECURITY DATABASE WILL OFFER SEVERAL SECURITY FEATURES LIKE PASSWORD,ACCESS LEVEL AND ACCESS CONTROL.
DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM,DATA DRIVEN WEBSITE, BUSINESS INTELLIGENT HAVE THEIR OWN PURPOSES TO INTERACT WITH CUSTOMER.
SECURITY SECURE IMPORTANT TO ALL ORGANIZATION.

VALUING ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION


INFORMATION IS EVERYWHERE  IN AN ORGANIZATION,EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO ADAPT TO THE VARIETY OF INFORMATION AROUND THEM TO MAKE DECISION.IF THEY CAN ADAPT SUCCESSFULLY TO THE INFORMATION THEY GET IT,ITS SHOWS THAT HOW AN ORGANIZATION IS PERFORMING.IN THE ORGANIZATION THERE HAVE THREE DIFFERENT PART OF INFORMATION.
 FIRST INFORMATION LEVEL LIKE INDIVIDUAL KNOWLEDGE,DEPARTMENT GOALS SO THEY ARE KNOWN BY THEIR OWN SELF.
SECOND INFORMATION FORMATS LIKE LETTER,MEMOS,REPORTS,COMPETITOR,CUSTOMER, ETC..THE  INFORMATION GET IT MOST OF IT FROM OTHERS.THIRD ARE INFORMATION GRANULARITIES,LIKE REPORTS FOR EACH SALES PERSON,REPORT ACROSS DEPARTMENT.WITH THIS INFORMATION THEY WILL MORE FOCUS ON DOING JOB WELL.POOR INFORMATION CANNOT PERFORM THE ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE WELL.

THEY ALL HAVE THE DIFFERENT OWN FUNCTION,SO THAT THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE IN THE RIGHT PATH.THEY HAVE THE TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERTISE.
ETHICS AND SECURITY WILL LEAD US TO BE SUCCESS ORGANIZATION.ETHICS IS THE PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS THAT GUIDE OUR BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS OTHER PEOPLE.AS EXAMPLE ONE OF THE ISSUE AFFECTED BY TECHNOLOGY ADVANCE ARE COPYRIGHT,SOMETIMES HAVE A PARTY THAT NOT RESPONSIBLE,THEY JUST USE THEIR OWN MANPOWER THE COPY THE SONGS OR ANYTHING IGNORANCE THE CURRENT SITUATION.
SECURITY IS IMPORTANT TO ALL ORGANIZATION TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE BUSINESS INFORMATION FALL TO THE WRONG PERSON.INFORMATION SECURITY IS THE MOST PART TO TAKE CARE BECAUSE FROM PROTECT INFORMATION FROM BEING MISUSE BY PERSONS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE AN ORGANIZATION.  
UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF ETHICS ,ONE WAY TO BRING  ORGANIZATION  OPERATE SUCCESSFULLY.
INFORMATION SECURITY IS VERY IMPORTANT
